Q - Will it work on me?
A - Our trained professional will assess your suitability prior to starting to ensure you are a good candidate. They will advise you on the best way to whiten and give you realistic expectations so you don’t waste your money. If you are unsuitable (e.g. a lot of your teeth have been capped or veneered) they won’t start any treatment, alternatives will be discussed with you and our deposit will be refunded in full.
Q - What if I have crowns or veneers? Am I suitable?
A - Only natural tooth substance will go whiter. If you have a whole row of porcelain teeth at the front then you may not be suitable. (Though your opposing teeth can be whitened if they are natural). If you have the odd crown or veneer here and there you must be prepared to get these changes after whitening as they probably wont match after the procedure. Ensure you consider this before hand, though our clinician will point this out.
Q - How white will I go?
A - Everyone is different, some go whiter than others. ‘Yellowish’ teeth are easier to bleach than ‘greyish’ ones, though everyone will go lighter. If the clinician foresees a problem or you are concerned about how white you might go, it will be discussed with you prior to starting.
Q - I want to go really white – is it possible?
A - The best way to go really white is to undergo the deluxe combination procedure i.e Zoom Advanced Power laser teeth whitening Liverpool in conjunction with the close fit home tray system.
Q - Will it hurt?
A - Some people can experience very uncomfortable sensitivity for 1-2 days following the procedure. We provide soothing anti-sensitivity gels and can reassure you that you teeth WILL DEFINITELY return to normal quickly. However some people experience no sensitivity at all following the procedure.
Q - How long does the whitening effect last?
A - Normally 1 and 1/2 to 2 years depending on your habits and diet. After this your tooth colour may ‘drop back’. This means they will loose some of their whiteness though they should never revert back to their original colour. If you have close fit trays, these can be easily and affordably used for ‘freshen ups’ i.e. put some bleaching gel in them and wear for two 40 minute applications over a couple of consecutive days and your whiteness should come right back!
Q - Which whitening system is best for me? and what does it cost?
A - 1. Close-fit home trays: Here, accurate models are taken of your teeth and custom trays made in a special way to fit a close as possible. You apply the gel at home and wear for 30-40 minutes. It takes 1-3 weeks to achieve optimal results, depending on how white you want to go. Disadvantages are that it takes longer to achieve results. Advantages are it is more affordable and trays can be used later for ‘freshen-ups’ (see Q 6 How long does the whitening effect last)
Cost £199.50 (half price for a limited time only)
2. Zoom Advanced Power Laser Whitening: this takes 45-60 minutes and you sit back while the clinician does all the work and isolates your teeth, applies a strong whitening gel which is activates by a specialized light. This achieves instant results. Disadvantages – more expensive, may not achieve full whitening potential. Advantages – easy for the patient.
Cost £325.00 ((half price for a limited time only)
3. Deluxe: Deluxe Combination Whitening: this combine both the other procedures i.e Zoom Advanced Power Laser and close fit home trays.
This is the ultimate in tooth whitening. This is for those people who want to achieve their maximum whiteness coupled with the longest lasting results. It also provides opportunity for ‘freshen ups’ with the home whitening trays.
Cost £349.50 (half price for a limited time only) This is the best offer as you can actually save £175.00!!!
Q - What if I don’t to go any whiter?
A - If the clinician deems you suitable and you undergo treatment we guarantee you will go whiter. We always take a record of your starting colour so you can see the difference. If you do not change colour, we will re-do the treatment free of charge or offer you a full refund, no questions asked.
